Wedding at Sa Mandra Alghero, Sardinia Destination Wedding Photographer

3 days of celebrations, 1 welcome dinner, 1 Wedding Day, 2 ceremonies, 1 after wedding boat trip.

Agriturismo Sa Mandra is one of my favorite places, you've got it, right? Besides the fact that I chose it for my intimate wedding reception in 2015. Looking at my shots you also noticed for sure, that nature has an essential rule in my photography. I love to breathe it, filling my eyes with the yellows, the greens and the warm browns of the Mediterranean scrub, until I let myself being surrounded by the bright red of the flowers.

Once a year, at least, I am lucky enough to narrate the wedding of some of my couples here.

More and more couples coming from other countries and with different cultures, are choosing Sardinia for their “wedding abroad”, asking guests to fly here to celebrate their love in these magical places with special flavors.

This farmhouse doesn’t offer the usual blue sea and white beach that everyone well know, but the vestiges of traditional Sardinian culture. It’s almost like getting married in an open-air museum, surrounded by ancient tools and precious handmade works, having the opportunity to taste new and ancient flavors thanks to the transformation of top quality products.

Machteld and Willem have chosen to exchange their vows here. They did it really big and I spent three days with them. The night before the wedding, in fact, they welcomed friends and relatives with an informal barbecue. The wedding day has been very touching! I am not ashamed to admit that when Willem turned to his bride and burst into tears, I let my tears run down too.

An intimate moment, silent, powerful enough to enclose a longstanding desire, strongly wanted and dreamed of. Then the ceremonies: symbolic the first one, religious the second with the touching family’s chant; the dinner marked by several speeches. The night ended according to tradition with wild dances.

The day after they have chosen to share magical moments with friends and relatives again, organizing a suggestive boat trip that everyone will remember for a long time.

If you are curious you can go and have a look here.
